The first hidden gem is the Queen Jelena Madijevka Park. It is a small park where you can take a stroll and enjoy the views! There is lots of greenery and it feels like an escape from the busy city.

The next thing is the five wells square. You can find it at the entry of the Queen Jelena Madijevka Park. It's really cool to look at the straight line of wells.
Then we went to Kavana SV. Lovre, a café on people's square. The hidden gem is actually inside of this café. When you go to the back of this café you find one of the oldest churches in Zadar!
After you soaked in the beautiful details of the church you can have a refreshing drink before you head further in the city.

The next place is not really a hidden gem but there are some things most people don't pay attention to. In front of the St. Donatus church on the old town square you can find really cool ruins where you can take beautiful pictures! The inside of St. Donatus church is definitely worth a visit. When you go inside pay attention to the structure of the building! The lighting and acoustics are so special.

Behind me you can already see the beautiful water. The locals swim here and sun on the shore. I would definitely recommend taking a stroll along the shore and sitting down in the sun.
